An idea born from lived experience.
The idea was born from lived experience. During her first years studying mathematics at university, Candis relied heavily on AI to understand her exercises and lectures. The answers seemed clear, and she felt she was making progress. But her exam results told a different story: she understood solutions without building her own reasoning. The turning point came when she started working with a former mathematics student who refused to give the answers: he asked questions, pushed her to write down her reasoning even when it seemed wrong, and helped her see where her reasoning broke down. It was slow, sometimes frustrating, but it was the first time she truly made progress. Later, having become a tutor herself, she noticed the same pattern in her students: they used AI to get solutions quickly, but struggled to reason on their own. It is from this experience that T-Twice (Think Twice) was born. And ever since, we have never stopped developing the idea.
